FAA Award in Emergency First Aid at Work - Level 3

This is a one day course (6 hours) level 3 qualification, valid for 3 years

Delegates will attain knowledge and the practical competence required to deal with a range of workplace first aid situations. Subjects  include: Resuscitation and the use of a defibrillator, Minor injuries, Bleeding, Burns, Shock, Choking and Epilepsy.

This is a 2 day training course, level 3 qualification, valid for 3 years

  Delegates will attain knowledge and practical skills in Basic life support, injuries and illnesses associated  with children and babies.

This course is compliant with the  requirements of OFSTED and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

 This comprehensive three-day course covers a wide range of first aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with emergency situations  with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way. In addition, this course will include any protocol changes that may have arisen since their  last training course. 

The introduction to Social Care is a two day course covering all of the subjects contained within the care certificate, this introduction is a critical foundation to any social care role.

This half day course gives an introduction to the basic principles of safeguarding.  The qualification provides learners with the knowledge to identify a safeguarding concern, record  a disclosure and report to the appropriate person. 

 This one day course promotes awareness and sensitivity to  safeguarding, protecting children, young people and vulnerable adults. Enabling learners to identify the types and characteristics of abuse, record disclosure and appropriately  share information with the relevant people. 

An introduction to Dementia care. This one day course aims to give an understanding of the most common types of Dementia and the signs and symptoms experienced by a person living with Dementia.

This four hour course helps colleagues to understand the impact that both excellent and poor customer service has on your customer and your business. Enabling colleagues to deal effectively with customer complaints and identifying ways of turning a bad experience into a good one.

This one day course is ideal for all healthcare and social care staff who are involved in the moving and handling of people. 

This two hour infection control training course is an introduction to the key elements expected in a care environment to help reduce the risk of spreading disease and infection.
